Cyclone separator HFC-200 – G 3", 36,000 l/min liquid water separator · 50 bar
Code: HFC-200Related products
Product detailed description
The HFC-200 cyclone separator removes liquid water, oil and coarse solid contaminants from compressed air. It separates them by centrifugal force, without a filter element. It has a G 3" thread, a flow of 36,000 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 50 bar.
It belongs to the range of Omega Air HF filters up to 50 bar: the housing is the same as on these filters, but instead of a filter element it contains a cyclone element.

Housing and dimensions

Housing: cast aluminium with powder coating. The air is connected through female pipe threads in the head; the condensate leaves through a G 1/2" opening at the bottom. Dimensions according to the manufacturer: 772 × 198 × 70 × 620 mm, weight 30.4 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the manufacturer’s correction factor:
| Pressure (bar) | 3 | 5 | 7 | 10 | 13 | 16 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flow (l/min) | 18,000 | 27,000 | 36,000 | 49,680 | 63,000 | 76,680 | 94,680 | 139,680 | 184,680 | 229,680 |
Cyclone element and accessories
The separator collects a lot of water, so it needs a condensate drain, which is ordered separately. Suitable drains: AOK50B and AOK50SS. The spare cyclone element is listed in the specifications table.
Where to place it
It goes after the compressor or aftercooler, before the HF filters. It traps liquid water and oil before they reach the filters, so the filter elements clog less.
You will find all sizes and pressures among the HFC cyclone separators.
