Product detailed description
A small aluminium profile with a square cross-section designed for building structures with a low load and low mechanical stress.
Connection thanks to 2 slots on adjacent sides of the profile.
The sides without grooves reduce contamination of the profile and improve the appearance of the structure.
Rounded profile corners to reduce the risk of injury. Made of EN AW 6060 T5 aluminium alloy, anodised layer of more than 12 microns, tolerances according to the EN 12020-2 standard.
Available in large packs - small bundle 4 rods, large bundle 100 rods.
Joining profiles
The choice of fastening between different profiles is very important in every assembly structure. The customer can choose from various solutions depending on the required assembly time or the nature of the load and the load-bearing capacity.
1. Joining using screws in the slot
This is the simplest and fastest method of assembly. This joining system guarantees good perpendicularity between two surfaces (depending on the cut of the profiles) and good resistance of the joint in the direction transverse to the slot.
2. Joining using a through screw from the outer side of the profile
This is the strongest method of joining, resistant to mutual movement between two profiles. This method of joining provides better perpendicularity of the joint (which, however, depends greatly on the care taken over the quality of the cut). This system does not allow the parts to move if a screw is lost. The hole can be drilled with a hand drill using two diameters.
3. Joining using a connector or angle brackets
This method of joining is usually used where the greatest adjustability and ease of installation are required. The technical specifications of all products can be found in the product detail of the given accessory.
Profile threads
When making a thread, it is recommended to observe the depth given in the table:
