Last weekend, with our stand and attractions for children and adults alike, we supported the 2nd annual children’s charity day in Hořovice, a successful event that took place, just like last year, on the square of the third most populous town in the Beroun district. How did this charity event turn out and who won the new compressor ABAC Read on…
The beautiful weather of the last summer weekend welcomed us on the square in Hořovice in the early hours, together with the Žiju Hrou project and the event sponsors, such as the automotive glass manufacturer Saint-Gobain Sekurit. At that moment, preparations were peaking for an event that, according to everyone who took part, went splendidly last year – and on top of that it served a good cause, the same as this year: the goal was to support the Žirafka Endowment Fund of the Hořovice hospital. And we did not want to stop at the popular inflating of balloons with compressed air from a compressor. We prepared further treats for children and adults, so that this charity event keeps growing and moving forward in the eyes of everyone involved.
While some of the visitors were walking through the fairy-tale forest in the nearby forest park or one of the other six spots, we were chasing a ball around our air maze with the children. We have to admit that this was entertainment number one, outdoing the painting, the crafting of our mascot Ventilek and the rest of the fun around our stand. In the meantime, parents could look at and try out pneumatic tools from M7 and compete for T-shirts with the company logo, or for the main prize in the shape of a great portable compressor with a 6 l air tank and minimal maintenance requirements – the ABAC O15N-1,1 6 CM.
Wondering how many balloons we inflated altogether? Over an incredible 1,400! And that number, to give you an idea of how successful the event was, probably says it all!
So, shall we meet in Hořovice again next year? Until then, we will think up a whole heap of new fun together with Žiju Hrou!
