Dear customers, friends and fans, we have to share something with you that has quite bowled us over lately. The hectic period since the beginning of this year, during which we were busy preparing a brand-new version of our e-shop, symbolically culminated last week in Slovakia, the venue of a large and prestigious competition for our country and our neighbours called MastersGate. So what was it all about?
The MastersGate competition runs an annual contest of sorts across start-up, well-established, small and large e-shops in several categories. The aim is to help all these winning projects where they lack capacity – above all in the on-line world; nobody from MastersGate will come and work in your warehouse, deliver goods or anything like that :-)
We entered last year already, but because our capacity was really small back then, minimal in fact, we did not manage to reach all of you or your friends for support in time. It simply fizzled out, so we set our sights on this year’s edition…
This time we made it to the semi-finals in the “Business to Business” category, and after the trip to Bratislava for the finals we defended our e-shop Kompresory vzduchotechnika live – explaining why and what we do, how we try to simplify buying in a genuinely complex technical field, and what our goals are. You can probably imagine the initial nerves in front of the jury!

But we made it! Last weekend we brought home the MastersGate Awards win and we are ready for the cooperation that comes with it. What will it involve? We will keep working on the best possible communication with you – our customers and fans, we count on faster expansion into further markets and on improving and speeding up other processes for which we still do not have enough capacity. Thanks to mentoring and consultations from true e-commerce professionals, we believe we will kick off another, even better chapter of our e-shop. And then, hopefully, there will also be time for a holiday, which we badly need.
