FOXIflex is a German maker of extraction, conveying and spiral hoses based in Brandenburg. The owner-managed company has been producing hoses in Germany for over 20 years. Its hot-gas hoses withstand up to about 1100 °C, which is why they are used in engine testing, foundries, exhaust emission technology and aviation.
We offer five ranges: FoxiMulti and FoxiVulca for hot gases and air, FoxiPro in polyurethane for abrasive material, lightweight FoxiBase for extraction and ventilation, and FoxiSpecial for car exhausts and grass suction. They are joined by the sewn PVCL ventilation hose for warm air. Choose the hose by temperature, by what it will carry and by the vacuum.

Vacuum, pressure and bend radius depend on the diameter and are listed for each hose in its parameters.
How to choose an extraction hose
1. Temperature
First find out the highest temperature of the extracted medium. Choose the material by it: polyurethane up to +90 °C, silicone up to +250 °C, FoxiMulti fabric up to about 1100 °C.
2. What it will carry
For air and dust a thin wall is enough. For granulate, sand or gravel choose the thicker FoxiPro wall, which resists wear for longer.
3. Diameter and bending
Choose the diameter to match the extraction spigot. Do not bend the hose tighter than the bend radius stated for the product.
4. Fixing
Push the hose onto the spigot and secure it with a clamp or collar. When extracting dust, earth the wire helix so that static charge does not build up.
Frequently asked questions
- Which hose for exhaust gases?
- For engine exhaust gases and hot air there are FoxiMulti T450 to T1100; the number in the name gives the maximum working temperature in °C. For car exhausts in a workshop the light FoxiSpecial Car-Memory up to +200 °C is enough.
- Which hose for wood chips, granulate or sand?
- For abrasive material use FoxiPro with its smooth inner wall. L (0.75 mm) is for mildly abrasive substances, H (1.45 mm) for granulate and wood chips, and XL and XXL, with walls up to 3.5 mm, for sand, gravel, cement or glass.
- Are FOXIflex hoses flame-retardant?
- FoxiPro and FoxiBase polyurethane hoses contain flame-retardant additives, and FoxiBase SL-SE is self-extinguishing to DIN 4102 B1. FoxiMulti T650 is fire-resistant and FoxiMulti PVC-Weld withstands flying sparks from welding.
- What temperature can a polyurethane hose take?
- FOXIflex polyurethane hoses work continuously from −40 to +90 °C and briefly up to +125 °C. For higher temperatures use FoxiVulca with silicone up to +250 °C or FoxiMulti.
- How are FOXIflex hoses built?
- In five different ways, depending on the application. FoxiPro hoses have spring steel wire firmly embedded in an extruded profile of recyclate-free polyurethane, which keeps them smooth inside. Lightweight FoxiBase hoses are made of foil strips welded over a loosely embedded wire, so they can be compressed. FoxiMulti hoses have fabric clamped in a steel profile that also protects the hose against abrasion, FoxiVulca hoses are layers of coated glass fabric vulcanised in an oven, and PVCL ventilation hoses are sewn from PVC-coated fabric.
The temperature, vacuum and bend radius of each hose are listed in its parameters. FOXIflex is a brand of the German company foxiflex GmbH & Co. KG.
