Airbest is a Chinese manufacturer of vacuum technology for automation and industrial robots. Founded in 2006, the company develops and makes its own products and holds 42 patents on them. We offer Airbest ejectors, vacuum pumps, suction cups and their accessories.
Here the vacuum is produced not by an electric motor but by compressed air: it flows through the ejector nozzle and draws the air out of the suction cup with it. Airbest vacuum generators therefore only need a supply of clean, non-lubricated compressed air.

AZH, AZU and ACV ejectors
Small, isolated vacuum circuits. Miniature vacuum generators with threads or push-in fittings.
- vacuum down to −88 kPa
- external or integrated exhaust
- nozzle from 0.5 to 3 mm
ABM and ABX vacuum pumps
Mounted right at the suction cup. Multi-stage ejector pumps made of plastic, single or as sets with a common air supply.
- ABM down to −86 kPa, ABX down to −93 kPa
- mini pump flow up to 220 l/min
- NBR seals, −20 to +80 °C
AL, AM and AH vacuum pumps
Large circuits and porous materials. Aluminium pumps for large volumes of vacuum, with or without a check valve.
- flow up to 4,570 l/min
- AH for very deep vacuum
- aluminium body, NBR seals
ACP and ACPF transport pumps
Extracting and conveying bulk materials. Maintenance-free in-line pumps shaped to prevent clogging. They convey powders, granules, seeds and chips.
- flow up to 5,610 l/min
- aluminium or stainless steel
- dry air at 4 to 6 bar
SU and SF flat suction cups
Sheet metal, glass, boards and packaging. SU for flat and slightly curved smooth objects, the reinforced SF for boards subject to lateral forces.
- diameter from 2.6 to 200 mm
- silicone or NBR
- SF 200 mm holds 1,899 N at −60 kPa
SB, SBL and SBF bellows suction cups
Height differences and fragile parts. The bellows compensates for height differences. SBL gently picks up eggs and bread, polyurethane SBF lifts sheet metal and panels.
- SB with 1.5 bellows, 5.8 to 155 mm
- SBL with 4.5 bellows for fragile items
- SBF in polyurethane with thread
Spring attachments and fittings
Flexible mounting for the suction cup. KE and KI spring attachments compensate for height differences during handling, fittings connect the cup to the vacuum line.
- stroke from 6 to 50 mm
- threads from M5 to G1/2″
- straight and swivel fittings
Filters, switches and valves
Protecting and controlling the vacuum. The filter traps dust before it clogs the ejector. Switches monitor the vacuum level, valves control the air supply.
- ABF and AZFC filters 10 µm, ALF 20 µm
- RL3 and RL6 digital switches, AVS vacuum switches
- APL, APS and APE valves, silencers
An ejector needs clean, non-lubricated air, a suction cup the right valve and hose. You will find all our automation technology in one category.

Vacuum and flow depend on the supply air pressure. Values for each model are given on the product page and in the catalogue sheet.
How to build a vacuum gripper
1. Cup to suit the object
Flat, smooth parts are picked up with an SU or SF flat cup, uneven and fragile ones with an SB, SBL or SBF bellows cup.
2. Force with a margin
The product page gives the cup force at −20, −60 and −90 kPa. Choose the cup size or number with a margin for acceleration and braking.
3. Vacuum generator
A small, tight circuit only needs an AZH ejector or an ABM or ABX pump at the cup. Porous materials and large circuits need the higher flow of AL, AM or AH.
4. Clean air and a filter
Ejectors only work with non-lubricated compressed air. Fit a vacuum filter upstream of the generator to trap dust from the intake air.
Frequently asked questions
- Does an Airbest vacuum pump need electricity?
- No. Airbest ejectors and vacuum pumps produce vacuum with compressed air on the ejector principle. Only the digital switches and the electrically operated APE valves need electricity.
- Why only non-lubricated air?
- Ejectors are used only with non-lubricated compressed air, otherwise the suction nozzle may clog. Dirt from the intake air is trapped by a vacuum filter in front of the generator.
- Which suction cup for fragile objects?
- The SBL cup with 4.5 bellows. It is made of silicone or NBR and gently handles eggs, bread, glass and food in plastic packaging.
- What is a spring attachment for?
- A spring attachment compensates for height differences during handling. The cup sits down on the object even when the parts are not at the same height. The stroke is 6 to 50 mm depending on type.
- Can Airbest replace parts from other makers?
- Often yes, as the suction cups, ejectors and fittings have common dimensions and threads. Before swapping, compare dimensions, thread and performance with the catalogue sheet on the product page.
- Who makes Airbest vacuum products?
- The Chinese company Airbest, founded in 2006, which develops, manufactures and sells its vacuum components itself. Since 2022, Airbest has been a brand of the PIAB Group.
Catalogue sheets with dimensions and drawings are available for download with the products. Airbest is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
