    Connecting material for compressed air

    Welcome to our most extensive category - fasteners. This includes all fittings, socket couplings in all available designs or splitters and nipples with hose barbs. You can also choose from simple and reliable plastic systems with cut-ring or rotary couplings for easy routing of compressed air or other media directly to the application. Our range is suitable for automation, measuring and control technology or pneumatic compressed air distribution in industry, engineering and automotive technology.     Basic distribution of connecting material

    Plug connectors

    Socket couplings are the simplest system for connecting plastic hoses that can be assembled by anyone with at least a little manual dexterity. The hose is inserted into the coupling and the pressure, together with the cutting edge in the coupling, ensures that the hose is easily cut into the coupling and holds perfectly. To remove the clutch, simply release the pressure, squeeze the ring and pull out the hose. For this type of coupling the outer diameter of the tubing matters! Suitable hoses for nozzle systems and instructions on how to select the correct hose can be found here: plastic hoses for compressed air and other media

    Advantages - assembly and disassembly of couplings can be done by everyone
    Disadvantages - cannot be used for vacuum

    Screwing

    The fittings, if chosen correctly , will give you a quality connection. However, a poor selection will undoubtedly result in a media leak. Nickel-plated fittings and brass fittings are mainly used in compressed air for automation, measuring and control technology, nickel-plated ones are also used for fluid technology, but not infrequently also for welding. You can associate stainless steel fittings with the highest demands on hygiene, especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Among other things, it tolerates aggressive media best and has a long service life. When selecting a fitting, pay close attention to the threads - G, R and M threads are the most common in the range.

    Advantages - easy assembly, reliable connection and resistance to higher pressures
    Disadvantages - large leakages are possible with incorrect installation or incorrect threading
