Exhaust silencers for desiccant dryers
ES and ESB exhaust silencers made by Omega Air muffle the compressed air that a desiccant dryer releases during regeneration and when venting its towers. They handle high flow rates, up to 11,200 Nm³/h.
The ESB version also has a pressure relief valve that protects the silencer against overload. Every size has a service kit shared by ES and ESB.

The flow is the maximum the silencer can handle. Operating pressure 0–16 bar and temperature +1.5 to +65 °C apply to all ES and ESB sizes; dimensions according to the manufacturer. The connection is a female thread.
ES or ESB?
ES is the standard version: the air passes through the silencing element and escapes to the surroundings.
ESB has a spring-loaded pressure relief valve on the side opposite the inlet. When the pressure in the silencer exceeds the set limit, the valve opens and releases the excess air directly to the surroundings. This keeps the silencer from being overloaded.
How to choose a silencer
- Check the thread of the dryer's exhaust port or of the existing silencer.
- Choose a silencer with the same connection in the table.
- Decide between ES and ESB: ESB adds a pressure relief valve against silencer overload.
- You can pick a service kit of the same size together with the silencer.
Service kits
A service kit fits both the ES and the ESB silencer with the same connection, for example ES-12S → ES-12, ESB-12. It contains parts to renew the silencer.
For ADRY dryers, the exhaust silencers are part of the 1, 2 and 4-year service kits.
AWL silencers for smaller exhausts
For smaller flows and common pneumatic exhausts up to 10 bar there are AWL silencers with G 1/8" to G 2" connections: AWL-18, AWL-14, AWL-38, AWL-12, AWL-34, AWL-10, AWL-54, AWL-15, AWL-20. More silencers are in the Silencers on the exhaust category.

- What is the difference between ES and ESB?

- Yes. The ES-12S kit fits ES-12 and ESB-12, and the same applies to the other sizes.
