    Pneumatic cylinders are a typical component of automation technology. They allow not only linear movement as you might think. They make it possible and pivoting or swinging motion. This is useful for controlling grippers, robot peripherals and automated workplace equipment. The great advantage of pneumatic cylinders is their cleanliness and safety compared to their hydraulic counterparts. This is especially true as a great benefit for hygienically demanding operations in the food industry or healthcare.

    Pneumatic cylinders according to guidance - single-acting / double-acting

    • single-acting pneumatic cylinders
      (Single-acting pneumatic cylinders can be used for clamping of semi-finished products, as ejectors in various preparations for feeding semi-finished products, lifting them and for other operations. Compared to double-acting pneumatic cylinders of the same dimensions, they have lower air consumption.)

    • double acting pneumatic cylinders
      (Air is supplied to the piston from both sides, so that both forward and backward movements are realized by compressed air. This allows double-acting cylinders to achieve greater strokes (up to 2 m) than single-acting cylinders.)

    When is it appropriate to use a pneumatic cylinder with a magnet?

    In all cases where you need to monitor the piston position. Ensuring this tracking is easy - a position sensor is installed on the cylinderwhich detects through the cylinder wall
