Spare filter elements and parts for WALTER WDF dryers
Spare filter elements and parts for WALTER WDF refrigeration dryers with integrated filters. Each FE KIT contains elements for both built-in filters of the dryer, the 1 µm pre-filter and the 0.01 µm fine filter, plus sealing rings, so you replace everything in one go.
Here you will find 18 filter element kits for sizes WDF-23 to WDF-2775 and 4 parts for the control and protective electronics: the control unit, temperature sensor, high-pressure switch and fan pressure switch.
How to choose the right kit
- Find the size on the dryer’s rating plate, for example WDF-190.
- Find the element kits for this size in the table below.
- If there are two or three kits for a size, the deciding factor is the marking on the end cap of the existing element (for example FE 155). The kits differ in the shape of the end caps because they fit different filter versions.
The dryer code links to its product page, the kit or part designation to its own product page. The FE 1805 KIT contains 4 elements, the others 2 each.
When to replace the elements
The controller of the WDF dryer monitors the condition of the filters and uses the FIL alarm to signal that they need replacing. Always replace both elements at the same time. If the alarm does not appear, replace them once a year.
A clogged element increases the pressure drop, and with it the energy consumption of the compressor, and no longer reliably captures oil aerosol. Clean air downstream of the dryer protects the compressed air network, pneumatics and tools.
Before replacing the elements, switch the dryer off and depressurise the filters. Fit the new sealing rings according to the manual, which you will find in the attachments on the product page of each dryer.

Not sure which kit to order? Send us the dryer size from the rating plate and a photo of the end cap of the old element showing its marking. We will be happy to find the right kit for you. And if the dryer reports the FIL alarm shortly after the replacement, check whether a condensate separator is missing upstream of it.
- How often are the elements of a WDF dryer replaced?
- When the controller shows the FIL alarm. If the alarm does not appear, once a year.
- Do I have to replace both elements?
- Yes. The kit contains elements for the pre-filter and the fine filter, and you always replace them at the same time.
- Why are there two or three kits for one dryer?
- They fit different filter versions and differ in the shape of the end caps. Order the kit with the marking that is on the end cap of your existing element.
- I have a WDF-3330 dryer or larger. Where can I find the elements?
- The manufacturer does not yet list kits for the largest sizes. Send us the dryer size and the marking on the element and we will find out.
