    Description

    The FDRY-MK measuring chamber is connected to the outlet of the F-DRY dryer and the dew point sensor is mounted in it. It is intended for the FDRY-OS and FDRY-OSCB sensors.

    With the sensor the dryer controls the cycle by dew point and uses less purge air at lower load.

    Operating cycles of desiccant dryers

    Dew point control: after a short regeneration the column waits and saves air
    Dew point control: energy saving after regeneration
    • Fixed cycle: the columns switch every 10 minutes (5 min adsorption, 4 min regeneration, 1 min repressurisation), 12 times per hour.
    • Dew point control: with the sensor and measuring chamber the cycle is extended by the actual humidity.
    • Stand-by: on a signal from the compressor or control system air flows freely through both columns and the dryer waits.
