Some years ago the firm Gentilin decided to focus its design on the development of machines with standardised high quality and on the effort to keep improving in this field. Years of design development and research led to the creation of a new series of oil-free compressors based on a groundbreaking international patent. The innovation in ideas, mechanics and technology of the new movement of "two pistons in one axis", the unification of experience in the field of quality and production from branded European components make our machines the most efficient on the market with an emphasis on the safety and service life of the equipment. Gentilin compressors are a good choice for every dental surgery.
The optional variants of filtration systems guarantee outlet air of maximum quality. Thanks to all the factors mentioned, our compressors provide a whole range of advantages, such as a longer service life of the air tools in your dental surgery and the best possible care for your patients. The firm Gentilin is aware of the needs of doctors. A thorough study of the materials and techniques of acoustic insulation led to a reduction of the noise level to the historically lowest level with piston compressors. Our sound-insulated solution makes it possible to install Gentilin machines in places where this was previously unthinkable.
A centre of qualityThe firm Gentilin was founded 30 years ago in the Italian town of Trissino (Vicenza) – in a region known throughout Europe and the whole world above all for its excellent standards in the field of engineering and mechanical design. During its existence the firm Gentilin has become a company guaranteeing for its products the highest standards in the fields of quality, development and distribution. |
A spectrum of servicesThe relationship between the firm Gentilin and the customer never ends with the sale alone. The commitments for Gentilin are constant innovations to meet the needs of all end users. For this reason the company can boast a strong team of technical, logistics and product specialists able to adapt their products and services to the specific requirements of every client. The firm Gentilin has a warm attitude to after-sales service, so the customer is never left without the support of their supplier. |
Exclusive technology "Made in Italy"The company is proud that it can, thanks to the quality of its production, which is the result of its own intensive technological development, distinguish itself from the others. Experience, specialisation and a pinch of Italian inventiveness – these are the ingredients thanks to which the products of the firm Gentilin are completely unique! UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY
For more than 30 years the firm Gentilin has been engaged in and specialised in the production of oil-free compressors. On the basis of long-term development the unique concept of the double connecting rod solution arose, which is a patented technology.
| The heart of Gentilin oil-free compressors is the double connecting rod, which allows the simultaneous movement of two pistons in cylinders with an opposed arrangement in one axis. Unlike a common connecting rod joining the piston with the drive shaft, the pistons move along a unique trajectory that guarantees no effect of lateral forces. In this way the friction inside the cylinder is significantly limited, which causes considerable wear and reduces the service life of the compressor. The solution with a double connecting rod thus provides a unique service life with a guarantee of 5000 Mth of operation. The user of the compressor thus gains a longer life for their machine, a minimal need for maintenance and a significant reduction of the costs arising from shutdowns as a result of failures. | ![]() |

The low temperature inside the compressor unit thanks to the use of the double connecting rod makes it possible to seal the whole compressor hermetically. By sealing the compressor in combination with placing the intake filter directly at the air inlet to the valve plate, the lowest possible noise level in the field of dental compressors is ensured with Gentilin machines. |
| The intake of atmospheric air into the compressor unit is one of the most important factors contributing to the overall noise level of the machine. The firm Gentilin applies in its compressors pleated highly efficient intake filters as opposed to traditional and common foam filters. This type of filter element significantly reduces the noise level, so that the compressor does not need to be additionally sound-insulated with an extra cover. |

THE AIR DRYING SYSTEM
For a dentist it is important to ensure quality drying of the air from moisture. Moist air represents not only a hidden danger for expensive air tools, but also a risk of the patient coming into contact with contaminants.
These reasons are the answer to the question why modern compressors nowadays are oil-free and why they are equipped with various systems for drying the air, so that it is rid of water and the formation of condensate is prevented, which causes corrosion and a whole range of further problems.
The dryers used on Gentilin compressors are simple, reliable, compact, have a long service life, are easy to maintain and have low operating costs. They are based on the principle of an alternating drying system, thanks to which the performance does not fall during the regeneration process.
Drying takes place during the pause in the operation of the compressor, which is as a rule 60 % of the time in every dental surgery.
The operating cycle of drying is very simple and efficient :
- The ambient air enters the compressor through the inlet filter
- The air is led into the cooler
- In the cooler part of the moisture condenses
- Condensate collects in the separator and is subsequently drained
- The air enters the tower of the dryer filled with a special adsorption material that removes the remaining moisture
- Only now is the dry, clean and oil-free air accumulated in a vessel, which is moreover protected on the inside with an anti-corrosion and antioxidant treatment
1) ADSORPTION DRYERAll compressors in version "D" are equipped with this drying system. The compact design and high efficiency guarantee the supply of dry and clean air, thanks to the process of adsorption and condensation Pressure dew point: -20°C |

2) MEMBRANE DRYERAll GD compressors in the H/HS versions are equipped with membrane dryers. The membrane dryer does not only ensure the drying of the air, but is also equipped with additional filtration. The unique three-stage filtration system in combination with the membrane dryer used on the HS versions guarantees the supply of air of the medical quality needed for a dental workplace. |
