The basis of every screw compressor is a good screw block, from whose quality the quality of the whole machine derives. The screw block is formed by two screw rotors with an asymmetric profile, which rotate against each other and compress the air volumetrically. By using this method of compression the user gains many advantages:

  • compression is significantly more efficient than with piston compressors, which shows in significantly lower operating costs
  • thanks to rotary compression the service life of screw compressors is significantly higher and the compressors can be used for continuous load
  • compression is even and there is no fluctuation of the outlet pressure; the outlet temperature from the screw compressor is significantly lower (max. 10 °C higher than the temperature of the intake air), which significantly limits the formation of moisture in the compressed air
  • screw compressors have a significantly lower noise level; you can place them directly next to the equipment and save on expensive piping systems

Everything is moreover assembled by the manufacturer, designed so that inside the machine no unnecessary losses occur as a result of pressure drop, and ready for immediate use. It is enough only to connect it to the electrical network and the piping system and you do not have to install anything more.   1. Thanks to the filters it is possible to eliminate dust and oil particles down to a filtration grade of 0,01 μm and to a residual oil level of 0,01 mg/m³
  2. On the machine there is also the possibility of using the bypass piping of the dryer during a shutdown and still having filtered air
  3. All condensate from the dryer, filters and vessel is centrally collected at one point and automatically drained

Traditional compressors with on-off type control have a fixed speed and always produce the same amount of air regardless of its consumption, which is not constant. With such a method of control, however, you will not avoid states such as frequent switching with start-up of the machine with a high energy peak and idling, when air is not produced but only electrical energy is consumed.
