AIRnet is a piping system of aluminium pipes and quick-connect fittings for compressed air and inert gas lines. We offer pipes, fittings, ball valves, mounting parts and tools in sizes from 20 to 158 mm.
Neither the pipes nor the fittings corrode, so the air stays clean from the compressor to the point of use. The smooth inner surface reduces pressure drop and the pipes are light. Joints are made without welding, gluing or pressing: cut the pipe, deburr it and push it into the fitting.
No welding, no gluingWhat we offer for AIRnet
Aluminium pipes
Blue for air, green for gases. Straight pipes in lengths and bent drop pipes to the points of use.
- sizes from 20 to 158 mm
- corrosion-free, smooth inside
- bent 0.5 m drops for 20 and 25 mm
Couplings and fittings
Three series by size. Straight couplings, elbows, tees, reducers, branch connectors and end caps.
- PF 20–50 mm in glass-fibre nylon
- Classic 63–80 mm in aluminium
- Big 100–158 mm in steel
Ball valves and butterfly valves
Shut off just part of the line. Ball valves for 20 to 50 mm, butterfly valves for 63 to 158 mm.
- valve with two couplings or with a thread
- butterfly valves with coupling, 63 and 80 mm also threaded
- for compressed air and inert gases
Mounting and hoses
Fixed firmly to walls and ceilings. Everything to fix and connect the pipes, including spare O-rings.
- pipe clips from 20 to 158 mm
- rails, brackets and hangers
- flexible hoses from 20 to 80 mm
Installation tools
Cutting, deburring, tightening. Pipe cutters, deburring tools, tightening spanners and drill attachments for branches.
- tool case for PF series 20–50 mm
- cutters for pipes up to 158 mm
- drill attachments 14, 19 and 24 mm

| 50 mm line: weight, pressure drop and installation | ||
|---|---|---|
| Feature | AIRnet | Galvanised steel |
| Weight of 50 mm pipe | about 5 kg | over 25 kg |
| Pressure drop over 400 m | 0.2 bar | 0.37 bar |
| Corrosion | aluminium and polymer do not corrode | depends on galvanising, risk after cutting |
| Joining | push in the pipe and tighten the coupling | threads, needs an experienced fitter |
| Changing the layout | couplings and pipes can be dismantled and reused | pipes must be cut and fitted again |
Pressure drop for a 50 mm (2″) pipe, 400 m long, at 7 bar and a flow of 110 l/s.
How to install AIRnet
1. Plan
Choose the pipe size by the length of the line and the flow you need. In a larger workshop a ring main pays off.
2. Cut and deburr
Cut the pipe square with a pipe cutter and deburr the edge so it does not damage the seal in the fitting.
3. Push in and tighten
Push the pipe fully into the coupling and tighten it. Up to 25 mm hand-tight is enough, secure larger couplings with a spanner.
4. Pressurise
You can pressurise the system straight after installation. Add branches later with a drill attachment.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between the PF, Classic and Big series?
- Size and material. PF couplings for 20 to 50 mm are glass-fibre nylon, Classic for 63 and 80 mm are aluminium and Big for 100 and 158 mm are steel. All have a working pressure of 13 bar.
- Why are the pipes blue and green?
- The colour shows the medium. Blue pipes are for compressed air, green pipes for inert gases such as nitrogen. You can see at a glance what the line carries.
- Can AIRnet be connected to existing steel pipework?
- Yes. Change to a thread with a connection adapter, a straight coupling with male thread or a union coupling from G3/4″ to G3″. For 63 to 158 mm there are also flanges from DN65 to DN158.
- How do I add a branch to an existing line?
- Drill a hole in the pipe with a drill attachment of 14, 19 or 24 mm and fit a branch connector with coupling or thread. There is no need to cut the whole pipe.
- Can the system be used outdoors?
- Pipes and fittings resist UV radiation, corrosion, shocks, temperature changes and weather. The working temperature is −20 to +70 °C.
- Is AIRnet suitable for dried air?
- Yes. The materials do not corrode and the system handles air with a dew point down to −70 °C, so it also works after an adsorption dryer.
Dimension tables with order numbers are in the AIRnet pipe, fitting, accessory and tool categories.
