AAFSA silicone-free activated carbon filters
AAFSA silicone-free activated carbon filters remove oil vapours, hydrocarbons and odours that pass even through a microfilter. They belong to the range of Omega Air AAFS silicone-free filters for compressed air lines used in painting: the seals are silicone-free and the housing is not lubricated.
17 sizes from G 1/8" to G 3", flow of 167 to 46,000 l/min at 7 bar, working pressure up to 16 bar. The housing is supplied with the element.

Where to place it
It always goes after the AAFSS microfilter: activated carbon deals with vapours and odours, but oil droplets and particles must be trapped by the stages before it.
Element replacement
Replace the activated carbon element by time: saturated carbon stops trapping vapours, but the pressure drop does not change. All elements are among the AAFS spare elements.
Flow at a different pressure
The flows in the tables apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, multiply the flow by the correction factor:
