Drum of alternative oil Torque Elect+ 400 for screw compressors. Mineral base, viscosity grade ISO VG 46. The drum is intended for operations with several machines out of warranty that change the oil themselves — that's where the difference in price per litre shows the most.

What to check before switching

⚠️ Warranty conditions. If any of the machines is still under warranty, it requires the original lubricant specified by the manufacturer — an alternative oil would cause problems with a warranty claim.

Switching procedure. The machine manufacturer sets the rules for changing the oil: drain while hot, flush briefly, replace both the filter and the separator, and only then fill with the final charge. If you're not sure, get in touch — we'll go through it with you based on your specific machine.

With the drum of alternative oil, make sure it doesn't end up mixed with the original oil in one machine. Two mineral oils should not be mixed either.

The technical data correspond to the supplier's data sheet and the manufacturer's documentation. The replacement interval applies to normal temperature, humidity, and a dust-free environment. The oil should be drained while hot, with the machine stopped and depressurised.
