Condensate drain

A zero-loss electronic condensate drain with a capacitive sensor. It watches the level in the collecting chamber and opens the valve only once there is something to let out — then shuts before the air can follow the condensate. Draining capacity 2.0 l/h, connection R 1/2".

The capacity applies at a pressure of 7 bar, a temperature of 20 °C and 60 % humidity.

How it works

Inside the body is a collecting chamber with a capacitive sensor. As condensate flows in the level rises; at the upper mark the electronics open the valve and empty the chamber. The moment the sensor reports empty, the valve shuts. The panel carries two LED indicators and a test button, and inside there is a filter screen.

Fitting

It connects from above by a R 1/2" thread, with a 12 mm push-in fitting on the condensate outlet. It can be mounted upright or horizontally. Supply 230 V, rated IP 65.

Choose by where it is fitted, not by the biggest number in the table — behind the compressor the condensate is heaviest, in a filter lightest, and on the same unit those figures differ by up to ten times. And allow for an annual service: the screen and the seals are changed, and they are in the service kit.
