Product detailed description

The AAFHTM-780 high-temperature fine pre-filter traps fine solid particles larger than 0.1 µm as well as water and oil droplets. It has a 1 1/2" female thread and a flow of 13,000 l/min at 7 bar.

It is designed for high-temperature compressed air: it works up to 13 bar at a temperature of +1.5 to +85 °C, or up to 10 bar at a temperature of +1.5 to +120 °C.

It belongs to the range of Omega Air AAFHT filters for high temperatures: the aluminium housing is the same for all filtration stages, and the element determines the stage. It is supplied as a filter housing with an element and an MCD manual condensate drain.

Flow by pressure

The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it changes according to the manufacturer’s correction factor:

Pressure (bar)2345678910111213
Flow (l/min)4,9406,5008,1909,75011,44013,00014,69016,25017,94019,50021,19022,750

Above 10 bar, the maximum working temperature is +85 °C. For other conditions, such as a different temperature, the flow has to be recalculated — contact us.

Where to place it

AAFHT stages in the direction of flow, with stage AAFHTM highlighted
In the direction of flow: C separator, N25 mesh 25 µm, B coarse 15 µm, N5 mesh 5 µm, R dust 1 µm, M fine pre-filter 0.1 µm, S microfilter 0.01 µm. Stage M is highlighted.

It goes after the AAFHTR dust filter, before the AAFHTS microfilter. The 0.1 µm fine pre-filter extends the life of the microfilter, but it cannot replace it.

You will find other sizes among the filters of the same stage.
