B-AIR PLUS filtration system with CO, CO₂ and O₂ monitoring
B-AIR PLUS from the manufacturer Omega Air combines the B-AIR 0106 filter set with gas analysers, a pressure regulator and quick couplings in one yellow cabinet. It supplies breathing air for up to 5 people.
The analysers continuously monitor the content of carbon monoxide CO, carbon dioxide CO₂ and oxygen O₂ and trigger an alarm when the limit values are exceeded.

What it monitors
Carbon monoxide CO: warning at 3 ppm, alarm at 5 ppm. Carbon dioxide CO₂: alarm at 500 ppm and a stronger one at 1,500 ppm. Oxygen O₂: alarm when it drops below 19.5 %.
After switching on, the sensors need 120 seconds to warm up; the response time is 90 seconds.
Filters inside
The air is cleaned by the B-AIR 0106 set: an S microfilter, an H2 catalytic filter and an A2 adsorption filter. At the outlet, both solid particles and oil meet class 1 according to ISO 8573-1.
B-AIR PLUS filters and monitors the air. It does not remove carbon dioxide CO₂ or carbon monoxide CO from it completely, but it triggers an alarm when the limit values are exceeded.

The inlet air must have a dew point of at most −20 °C, so a compressed air dryer belongs before B-AIR PLUS.
