Metal lubricator N34 up to 18 bar - G 3/4" G 3/4" · up to 18 bar · 16000 l/min · 260 × 80 mm
Code: N34Related products
Product detailed description

A metal compressed air lubricator with a G 3/4" thread adds oil to the air in proportion to the flow, so it lubricates even when little air is drawn. The oil is held in a 379 cm³ metal bowl, and you set the dose finely with a screw. Flow 16000 l/min.

What it is for
It is connected last, after the filter and regulator, for tools and actuators that need lubrication. It does not belong in a line for spraying. The G 3/4" thread is suitable for a production line or machines with high air consumption.
The bowl takes oil for pneumatic tools, for example OLN-1. The replacement bowl is NOK3, the sight dome N-OZ. The same body with a G 1" thread is N10.
Ventilek’s tip
Open the bowl only without pressure. Before topping up the oil, shut off the supply and release the pressure. A pressurised bowl cannot be loosened safely.

Metal Work is an Italian pneumatics manufacturer from Concesio near Brescia, founded in 1967. It makes actuators and handling components, valves and control systems, compressed air treatment, fittings and accessories. More than 600 people work in its Concesio plant, and the Metal Work Group comprises 61 companies worldwide.
We offer Metal Work air treatment in two series: the compact plastic I3 up to 13 bar and the robust metal I8 up to 18 bar. Both include a pressure regulator, filter, lubricator, filter regulator and two-piece unit, plus spare elements, bowls and brackets.
From Italy since 1967Two Metal Work air treatment series
I3 series — plastic up to 13 bar
Slim air treatment for tight spaces. A plastic body only 40 mm wide with G 1/8″ or G 1/4″ thread.
- pressure setting 0 to 8 bar
- 20 µm filter with semi-automatic drain
- five elements sharing the same spare parts
I8 series — metal up to 18 bar
Robust treatment for higher pressure. Metal body and metal bowl with sight glass in three sizes.
- pressure setting 0 to 12 bar
- thread G 1/4″ to 1″
- filter flow up to 11,000 l/min
Need a unit up to 10 bar, a stainless one or another size? All air treatment units, filters, regulators and lubricators are in one category.

Flow is the maximum air flow through the element in litres per minute. The working temperature of both series is −10 to +50 °C.
How to choose and connect air treatment
1. Pressure
If your air line runs above 13 bar, choose the metal I8 series rated to 18 bar. For lower pressure and little space, the plastic I3 series is enough.
2. Flow
Add up the air consumption of everything running at the same time and choose a size with a higher flow. A two-piece unit passes less air than separate elements.
3. Order
In the direction of flow, the filter comes first, then the regulator and finally the lubricator. Mount the filter and lubricator vertically, bowl down.
4. Maintenance
The drain empties condensate from the bowl. Replace a clogged filter element with a new 20 µm one or a finer 5 µm one.
Frequently asked questions
- Is a pressure gauge included with the regulator?
- No, for regulators, filter regulators and units of both series the gauge is ordered separately. A 0–10 bar gauge suits the I3 series, a 0–16 bar gauge the I8 series.
- Which spare parts are there for the units?
- 20 and 5 µm filter elements, filter and lubricator bowls, an oil sight cap and mounting brackets. For the I3 series the parts are the same for both threads, for I8 they are chosen by body size.
- Should I take a G 1/8″ or G 1/4″ thread?
- In the I3 series both threads have the same body, flow and spare parts. G 1/8″ suits thin tubing and small devices, G 1/4″ common quick couplings and tool hoses.
- Is the unit suitable for spray painting?
- Yes, but without the lubricator: the filter and regulator deliver clean, oil-free air. For finer filtration there are industrial filters to ISO 8573.
- Which certificates does Metal Work hold?
- Metal Work has held ISO 9001 quality certification since 1992 (DEKRA), ISO 14001 environmental certification since 2000 and ISO 45001 since 2019.
Dimensions, flow rates and spare parts of both series are listed in the tables in their categories. Metal Work is a brand of the Italian company Metal Work S.p.A.
