The PFS-1200 process microfilter traps particles larger than 0.01 µm, water and oil; residual oil is below 0.01 mg/m³. It has a DN150 flange, a flow of 224,000 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 10 bar. It contains 6 PFS-200V elements.
It belongs to the PF process filters, among the PFS microfilters: the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs. The photo shows a PF range filter with a threaded connection.

Housing and dimensions
The housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404, or 1.4301 on request, with the outer surface polished to Ra 1.6 and EPDM seals (FKM or silicone on request). It withstands −20 to +150 °C; the actual limit depends on the seals and the element.
For oil separation, the air flows through the coalescing element from the inside out, and the filter is mounted head up with the bowl down.

Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 14 bar it is 1.88:

Where to place it
It goes after the PFM fine pre-filter, which protects it. It can be followed by the PFA activated carbon.
