0,8 mm
Spray guns with a 0.8 mm nozzle are ideal for fine detail painting and applying top coats of thin to medium-viscosity paints. They suit work with high accuracy demands – painting plastic parts, small furniture or doing touch-ups, for example.

When to use the 0.8 mm nozzle
The 0.8 mm nozzle is used where a fine spray and greater flow than with micro nozzles (0.3–0.5 mm) is needed, while still keeping precise application and high control. Compared with even smaller diameters it copes better with spraying thin-film acrylic, synthetic and water-thinnable paints, especially where longer stretches must be sprayed without interruption but quality and low consumption still matter.
Typical applications:
- Painting plastic parts: car accessories, electronic components, casings and covers, for instance.
- Small wooden elements and furniture: decorative mouldings, frames, chairs, small tables.
Precise painting of metal parts: used in engineering, watchmaking or when painting components with small surfaces.
- Touch-ups, repairs and soft transitions: for an even coat with no overspray or runs.
Recommended working settings
- Pressure: around 1.5–2.5 bar (HVLP systems)
- Paint filtration: recommended – a small nozzle can be sensitive to contaminants
- Air: dry, oil-free, stable (we recommend using a filter/separator)
Compared with 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm
- Compared with 0.7 mm, the 0.8 mm has higher flow and suits longer passes in fine painting – ideal for hobby painters and professional shops that frequently switch between smaller components.
- For larger volumes or thicker paints, 1.0 mm is recommended – you gain working speed but lose a little in spray fineness.
