ADRY-TAC-12 desiccant dryer with carbon tower – G 3/8", 200 l/min
Code: ADRY-TAC-12Product detailed description
The Omega Air ADRY-TAC-12 desiccant dryer dries 12 Nm³/h (200 l/min) of compressed air to a pressure dew point of −40 °C, and its activated carbon tower removes oil vapours and odours. 9.5 Nm³/h remains at the outlet, the rest is used for regeneration.
It belongs to the ADRY TAC dryer range, where you will find all sizes and an explanation of how the dryer works.

Flow under other conditions
The nominal flow applies to 7 bar, an inlet temperature of +35 °C and a dew point of −40 °C. Under other conditions, multiply it by the factors: for example at 10 bar and +40 °C the ADRY-TAC-12 handles 268 l/min (200 × 1.38 × 0.97).

How it works
Two desiccant columns alternate every 10 minutes: one dries while the other is regenerated with part of the dry air. The dried air then passes through the third column with activated carbon, which captures oil vapours and odours.
In the basic version the control unit shows its status with six LEDs, dryers with energy-saving dew point control have a control unit with a display.
Where to install the dryer
The dryer is installed after the compressor and the air receiver. The inlet microfilter protects it against oil and particles, the outlet dust filter captures dust from the desiccant. An overview of filters can be found under industrial filtration according to ISO 8573-1.
Dryers without the third column are in the ADRY desiccant dryers category.
