Product detailed description

The WFIFC-030 stainless steel cyclone separator removes condensate droplets — water and oil droplets — from the air before they reach the elements after it. It has a DN25 flange, a flow of 5,250 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 14 bar.

It belongs to the WFIF process filters, among the WFIFC cyclone separators: the housing is the same for all stages, but instead of an element it has a cyclone element.

Housing and dimensions

Drawing of the WFIF filter with dimensions A, B, C and drain E
A height, B length across the flanges, C housing diameter, E drain.

The welded housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404, or 1.4301 on request, with flanges according to EN 1092-1/11 PN16 (ANSI B16.5 WN Class 150 on request) and FKM seals. It withstands −20 to +150 °C; the actual limit depends on the seals and the element.

Dimensions according to the manufacturer: height A 279 mm, length across the flanges B 216 mm, housing diameter C 88.9 mm. Weight 5.7 kg.

Flow by pressure

The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 14 bar it is 1.88:

Pressure (bar)471014
Flow (l/min)3,3085,2507,2459,870

Cyclone element and accessories

For this separator:
Spare cyclone elementWFC-030V
Condensate drain (ordered separately)AOK20SS
Differential pressure gauge for the filter headMDHI50-K

Once a year, check the housing for visible damage. The separated condensate is drained at the bottom of the housing.

Where to place it

Stages in the direction of flow; C is highlighted.

It goes at the start of the filtration, before the WFIFN25 coarse filter or the WFIFI20 sintered pre-filter.

You will find other sizes among the separators of the same range.

Omega products are used everywhere

A wide range of applications is typical for Omega Air products. Its products are used in heavy industry as well as by private entities. Slovenia's footprint is thus noticeable in industrial sectors such as electrical, gastronomy, pharmaceuticals, moto and also in the chemical-industrial sector. However, the company's main product is special filters, which are exported all over the world.

No greenhorn in the industry

Omega Air also boasts several proprietary innovations and patents that originate in the development department. The company has also been awarded several times for its innovative solutions at the International Engineering Fair itself, which is traditionally held in Hannover, Germany.
