Housing and dimensions

The housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404 with the outer surface polished to Ra 0.8 and is also designed for sterilisation. According to the manufacturer, the sterile element withstands a large number of sterilisation cycles and works at −20 to +150 °C.
According to the manufacturer: height A 449 mm, width across the connections B 174 mm, housing diameter C 114.3 mm, connection axis height D 65 mm. Weight 3.6 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 10 bar it is 1.38:
| Pressure (bar) | 4 | 7 | 10 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flow (l/min) | 9,450 | 15,000 | 20,700 |
Spare element
Where to place it

It goes at the end of the filtration, after the SPFM fine pre-filter and the SPFS microfilter. They trap the oil and most of the particles, so the sterile element works with clean air.
You will find other sizes among the SF sterile filters.
