AAFHTB coarse filters with a sintered element for high temperatures
AAFHTB coarse filters with a sintered element for high temperatures trap coarse solid contaminants larger than 15 µm and protect the finer stages after them. They belong to the range of Omega Air AAFHT filters for high temperatures: they work up to 13 bar at +85 °C, or up to 10 bar at +120 °C.
13 sizes from 1/4" to 3", flow of 583 to 46,000 l/min at 7 bar. Supplied as a filter housing with an element and an MCD manual condensate drain.

Where to place it
It goes at the start of the filtration, after the AAFHTC cyclone separator, before the AAFHTR dust filter and the finer stages. The 15 µm sintered element is finer than the N25 mesh and coarser than the N5 mesh.
Element replacement
Replace the element once every 12 months, or earlier when the pressure drop across the filter reaches 350 mbar. Elements for all stages are among the AAFHT spare elements.
Flow at a different pressure
The flows in the tables apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, multiply the flow by the manufacturer’s correction factor:
