AAFHTC cyclone separators for high temperatures
AAFHTC cyclone separators for high temperatures are the first stage of the range: instead of a filter element, they have a cyclone element. They belong to the range of Omega Air AAFHT filters for high temperatures: they work up to 13 bar at +85 °C, or up to 10 bar at +120 °C.
7 sizes from 1/2" to 3", flow of 1,300 to 36,000 l/min at 7 bar. Supplied as a housing with a cyclone element and an MCD manual condensate drain.

Where to place it
It goes at the start, before the filters of the range. It is followed by the pre-filters for coarser contaminants — the N25 mesh pre-filter, B coarse filter or N5 mesh pre-filter — and then by the finer stages.
Spare cyclone element
The cyclone separator has a cyclone element instead of a filter element. The spare cyclone element for each size is in the table above and among the AAFHT spare elements.
Flow at a different pressure
The flows in the tables apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, multiply the flow by the manufacturer’s correction factor:

Above 10 bar, the maximum working temperature is +85 °C. For other conditions, such as a different temperature, the flow has to be recalculated — contact us.
