Do you need first-class protection for very large industrial plants? The high-capacity flanged filters of the BFB series from Omega Air, with their sturdy steel body, act as the main shield of a central compressor room. They efficiently remove large amounts of solid contaminants and water before these reach the finer parts of the system.

✅ Coarse filtration 15 µm: The extremely durable sintered bronze (brass) element reliably captures scale, rust and coarse dirt coming from the main pipework.
✅ Industrial steel body: The welded carbon steel body with flange connection (DN80 to DN300) complies with the strict PED Directive 97/23/EC.
🔹 High throughput: The design allows 1 to 20 filter elements in a single housing, handling massive flow rates at a maximum pressure of 16 bar (temperature +1,5 to +65 °C).
✔ Easy maintenance: Sintered bronze elements can be partially cleaned by blowing them through or with ultrasound. They should be replaced 1× per year or at a pressure drop of 350 mbar.
⚠️ Note on the scope of delivery: The housing and the elements are included, condensate draining must be ordered separately (we recommend an electronic drain).

Ventilek advises: Folks, with these steel giants the fun stops. The BFB series flanged filters are heavy-duty workhorses installed directly into the central pipework of your plant. If hundreds of thousands of litres of air pass through them every minute, can you imagine how much condensed water and old rust this bronze shield (15 µm) holds back? Remember one important thing: these "barrels" do not contain just one big element. To reach such an enormous flow rate, the manufacturer fits several smaller elements inside – the largest units easily hold up to 20 of them! And one last thing: for filters this big, which produce litres of condensate every day, never buy an ordinary float drain, it would simply drown. Always pair them with a strong electronic drain with a high capacity!
