6 l · 8 bar · 63 dB at 4 mThe smallest pump in the range and the lowest noise the Super Silent OS has. The OS7P-0.55-6RM has 83 dB Lwa and just 63 dB at 4 m — two pistons either side of a 0.55 kW motor at 1,420 rpm draw in 140 l/min without a drop of oil. The six-litre tank in its tubular frame weighs 17 kg all in, is carried in one hand by the extended handle and the switch cuts out at 8 bar. Inflating, blowing off, stapling and airbrush work in a flat or in a shop during opening hours — from an ordinary socket.
Why the smallest pump: quiet, weight and air that is enough
The OS7P pump is the weakest in the range, and that is exactly why it is among the quietest: two small pistons at 1,420 rpm give 83 dB Lwa, while the stronger OS20P gives 85 dB. A hundred and forty litres a minute is more than enough for tools that take air in bursts — the stapler fires, the pressure drops by a few tenths of a bar and the pump tops up the six litres before you pull the trigger again. In return you get a machine you lift with one hand, stand on its rubber feet next to the bench and put back in the cupboard after work; the frame protects it in the boot of the car, even lying down. If you want a nailer firing in quick succession with a six, take the same frame with the OS20P pump.
