The EMC EPR3000-4 precision pressure regulator sets the outlet pressure from 0.1 to 4 bar and keeps it constant even when the inlet pressure and air consumption fluctuate. It has an aluminium body, secondary venting and two G 1/8" pressure gauge connections with plugs. The bracket is included, and both the bracket and the pressure gauge can be fitted on either of the two sides.
EPR 3000 series, connection G 1/4", flow rate 1,150 l/min. It belongs to the FDR high-precision pressure regulators.

Dimensions
The regulator delivers up to 1,150 l/min (inlet 7 bar, outlet 6 bar, pressure drop 1 bar). The main dimensions are shown in the drawing; the supplied bracket is fixed to the side of the body.
Installation and adjustment
- install a fine compressed air filter (5 µm) upstream of the regulator – the air must be clean and oil-free
- do not swap the inlet and outlet – the regulator works in one direction only
- the pressure gauge is supplied separately: choose a pressure gauge with a G 1/8" thread and a range slightly above the pressure you will set, and screw it in instead of one of the plugs
- set the pressure from below: loosen the knob to below the required value, then slowly increase it until the pressure gauge shows the required pressure
- fix the supplied bracket to either of the two sides of the body; for panel mounting, the regulator is fixed by the M12 × 1 thread

EPR 3000: inlet pressure up to 10 bar, operating temperature −20 to +70 °C, air consumption max. 4.4 l/min, bracket included. ETV 3000: inlet pressure 1 to 10 bar (at least 1 bar above the set pressure), supply 24 V DC, protection IP 65, M12 connector, operating temperature 0 to +50 °C. Both series need air filtered to 5 µm, free of oil.
How to choose and connect an EMC regulator
1. By hand or by signal
A pressure that you set once and that should stay constant is held by the EPR 3000 precision regulator. If the machine control system is to change the pressure, choose the ETV 3000 proportional regulator.
2. Choose the range
Choose the smallest range whose upper limit is above the highest pressure you will set – the regulation will be finer. For the ETV 3000 also choose the signal matching the output of the control system.
3. Fit a filter
Both series need clean, oil-free air filtered to 5 µm. Install a fine compressed air filter upstream of the regulator.
4. Mount and set
Fix the EPR 3000 with the bracket supplied or in a panel using the M12 × 1 thread; set the pressure from below. The ETV 3000 comes with an L bracket and a base plate; supply and signal are connected via the M12 connector.

- What is the difference between EPR 3000 and ETV 3000?
- The EPR 3000 is set by hand with a knob and keeps the pressure constant even when the inlet pressure and consumption vary. The ETV 3000 sets the pressure according to an electric signal and shows the set and actual pressure on its display.
- Does the EPR 3000 come with a pressure gauge?
- No, it is not included. The regulator has two G 1/8" ports with plugs – replace one plug with a pressure gauge whose range is slightly above the pressure you set.
