The PFN5-1200 basic mesh process filter traps solid contaminants larger than 5 µm. It has a DN150 flange, a flow of 224,000 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 10 bar. It contains 6 PFN5-200V elements.
It belongs to the PF process filters, among the PFN5 basic filters: the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs. The photo shows a PF range filter with a threaded connection.

Housing and dimensions
The housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404, or 1.4301 on request, with the outer surface polished to Ra 1.6 and EPDM seals (FKM or silicone on request). It withstands −20 to +150 °C; the actual limit depends on the seals and the element.
According to the manufacturer: height A 1,330 mm, length across the flanges B 540 mm, housing diameter C 323.9 mm. Weight 112 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 14 bar it is 1.88:
