The PFIW1-900 welded process pre-filter traps solid particles larger than 1 µm. It has a DN150 flange, a flow of 160,000 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 10 bar. It contains 4 PFIW1-200V elements.
It belongs to the PF process filters, among the PFIW1 welded pre-filters: the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs. The photo shows a PF range filter with a threaded connection.

Housing and dimensions
The housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404, or 1.4301 on request, with the outer surface polished to Ra 1.6 and EPDM seals (FKM or silicone on request). It withstands −20 to +150 °C; the actual limit depends on the seals and the element.
Dimensions according to the manufacturer: height A 1,311 mm, length across the flanges B 480 mm, housing diameter C 273 mm. Weight 90 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 14 bar it is 1.88:

Where to place it
