    Why do some PVC hoses need plasticising? Above all to gain greater elasticity. This property is part of why soft PVC hoses are ready for a wide range of uses – from the garden to carrying petrol, oils, cooling emulsions, water and air.

    We know PVC mainly from the popular PVC floors. PVC – polyvinyl chloride – is in fact the third most used plastic on Earth, right after polyethylene and polypropylene. It was first synthesised in 1935, and thanks to that we can use its qualities in the compressed air field as well.
