3/2
Three-way, two-position 3/2 valves switch between pressure supply and exhaust — they drive single-acting cylinders, shut off the air supply and serve as pilot valves for larger directional valves.
The valve designation reads like a fraction: the first number is the count of ports, the second the count of spool positions. Choose the actuation and reset method to match your control system — a solenoid suits electrical control, an air pilot signal works where electricity is unwelcome. Also check the port thread, the coil voltage and the flow you need.
