5/2 air / air
5/2 valves piloted by air on both sides stay in the last position even after the pilot pressure drops. The whole control chain is purely pneumatic — no coils, no wiring and no risk of sparking.
The valve designation reads like a fraction: the first number is the count of ports, the second the count of spool positions. Choose the actuation and reset method to match your control system — a solenoid suits electrical control, an air pilot signal works where electricity is unwelcome. Also check the port thread, the coil voltage and the flow you need.
