The A1X compressed air filter with a G 1/2" thread is made entirely of AISI 316 stainless steel. The 5 µm stainless steel element traps dirt and water droplets, and the condensate is drained from the bowl semi-automatically. It withstands an inlet pressure of up to 60 bar.

What it is for
It is suitable as a standalone filter before a consumer or a regulator in environments where aluminium or plastic would corrode, and for high pressure too.
Maintenance
The condensate leaves by itself after the pressure in the bowl drops; in continuous operation, drain it from time to time. Check the stainless steel element and clean it when it is clogged.

The flow drops with a finer element. The manufacturer states the flow with a 40 µm element. With the 5 µm element fitted as standard, expect a lower flow and a greater pressure drop.
