What is replaced during dryer maintenance
- WALTER WDF refrigeration dryers: Renew the integrated filters with an FE KIT element set: when the controller shows the FIL alarm, at the latest once a year.
- RDS refrigeration dryers: Bypass piping routes the air around the dryer, so you do not have to shut down the air line during maintenance and servicing.
- ADRY desiccant dryers: The 1-year service kit renews the filter elements and exhaust silencers. The 2-year kit adds a check valve and seals, the 4-year kit a valve set, desiccant and seals.
- Exhaust silencers: They muffle the compressed air that a desiccant dryer releases during regeneration. Every ES and ESB silencer has its own service kit.
- MADRY membrane dryers: Every size has a replacement membrane.
- TAC activated carbon columns: Every size has a service kit.
Add-ons for all dryers
- The CHI humidity indicator shows air humidity by the colour of the silica gel in its window: orange means dry air, clear means humid air.
- The ADRY-OS and BDRY-OS dew point sensors measure the pressure dew point of a desiccant dryer. The dryer can then regenerate only when it is needed.
- Condensate drains remove condensate from filters, air receivers and dryers.
- Compressed air filters belong both upstream and downstream of the dryer.

- How do I find out which part fits my dryer?
- You will find the dryer series and size on the rating plate. Choose the series in the table above; in its category the parts are sorted by size.
- How often are ADRY desiccant dryer service kits replaced?
- After 1, 2 and 4 years of operation. The 1-year kit renews the filter elements and exhaust silencers, the longer kits add further parts.
- What is the CHI humidity indicator for?
- It shows whether the compressed air is dry: the silica gel in the window is orange when the air is dry and clear when it is humid. Once the air is dried again, it turns orange again.
- Which exhaust silencer should I choose for a desiccant dryer?
- By the thread of the exhaust port. ES and ESB silencers have G 1/4" to G 2" connections; ESB also has a pressure relief valve against overload.
