Cyclone separators 16 bar
Cyclone separators work on a fairly simple principle. They change the compressed air flow from straight to rotating thanks to the round shape of the vessel; the rotation and centrifugal force make the condensate droplets we want to remove collect on the inner wall, from where they run down to the bottom and are then drained off. Separators thereby spare the dryers and filters connected downstream, which are no longer under such strain.
