The BAIR-0306 is a set of three Omega Air B-AIR filters that prepares compressed breathing air directly at the point of use. It has a G 1" connection and a flow of 335 Nm³/h (5,583 l/min) at 7 bar.
Set composition
- The S microfilter traps solid particles, water and oil down to 0.01 µm and protects the other stages. Element: AAFS-335V.
- The H2 catalytic filter with a hopcalite filling reduces carbon monoxide CO and some other substances. Element: AAFH2-335V.
- The A2 adsorption filter with activated carbon traps oil vapours and odours; residual oil is below 0.005 mg/m³. Element: AAFA2-335V.

Each of the three filters measures A 363 mm, B 125 mm and C 32 mm. Leave free space D of 120 mm below the filters for replacing the element.
Flow by pressure
The nominal flow of 335 Nm³/h applies at 7 bar. At a different pressure, multiply it by the correction factor: at 6 bar it is 0.88, so the set passes 295 Nm³/h. You will find the full table in the B-AIR sets category.
What the set does not remove
The manufacturer does not designate the B-AIR set for removing carbon monoxide CO and carbon dioxide CO₂. The catalytic stage only reduces the CO content and does not remove CO₂. The composition of the air is monitored by B-AIR PLUS with analysers.
The hopcalite filling needs air with sufficiently low humidity, so a compressed air dryer belongs before the set.
