Product detailed description
The HPFA-094 activated carbon process filter removes oil vapours, hydrocarbons and odours. It has a G 2" connection (female pipe thread), a flow of 15,000 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 50 bar.
It belongs to the HPF process filters, among the HPFA activated carbon filters: the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.

Housing and dimensions

The housing for pressures up to 50 bar is made of stainless steel 1.4404, or 1.4301 on request, with the outer surface polished to Ra 1.6 and EPDM seals (FKM or silicone on request). It withstands −20 to +150 °C; the actual limit depends on the seals and the element.
According to the manufacturer: height A 481 mm, width across the connections B 180 mm, housing diameter C 114.3 mm. Weight 9.2 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 50 bar it is 6.38:
| Pressure (bar) | 7 | 16 | 30 | 50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flow (l/min) | 15,000 | 31,950 | 58,200 | 95,700 |

| Spare element | PFA-094V |
| Condensate drain (ordered separately) | AOK50SS, TD420M-230VAC |
Where to place it

It goes after the fine pre-filter and the microfilter: activated carbon must not work in an oil-saturated environment, and solid particle class 1 only applies with a microfilter before it. It is followed by the HPFSF sterile filter.
You will find other sizes among the filters of the same stage.

Omega products are used everywhereA wide range of applications is typical for Omega Air products. Its products are used in heavy industry as well as by private entities. Slovenia's footprint is thus noticeable in industrial sectors such as electrical, gastronomy, pharmaceuticals, moto and also in the chemical-industrial sector. However, the company's main product is special filters, which are exported all over the world. |
No greenhorn in the industryOmega Air also boasts several proprietary innovations and patents that originate in the development department. The company has also been awarded several times for its innovative solutions at the International Engineering Fair itself, which is traditionally held in Hannover, Germany. The Omega Air product range is brought to you by our air compressors company below. |
