HPFSF stainless steel filters with a sterile element up to 50 bar
The HPFSF sterile filter is the last filtration stage of the HPF range. It has a sterile element with a filtration rating of 0.01 µm and a polished stainless steel 1.4404 housing.
The HPFSF filter comes in 8 sizes (G 1/2" to 3") with flows of 2,500 to 40,000 l/min at 7 bar; working pressure up to 50 bar. It is one of the stages of the HPF filters — the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.
HPFSF filters by size
The size determines the connection and the flow. Each size has its own PF range spare element.

When to use it
The sterile filter goes at the end of the filtration, after the fine pre-filter and the microfilter. The manufacturer designs the HPF range for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, the food industry and hospitals, among other uses.
Where to place it
At the end of the filtration, after the HPFM fine pre-filter and HPFA activated carbon.
Flow by pressure
The catalogue flows apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a higher pressure the filter passes more air — 6.38 times as much at 50 bar.

Element, condensate drainage and maintenance
A PF range element is fitted in the housing — for example, the PFSF-010V for the HPFSF-010.
The filter is supplied with an element, without a condensate drain. For HPF filters, the manufacturer offers the AOK50SS stainless steel float drain up to 50 bar, recommended from 10 bar, or the TD420M timed drain with a G 1/4" thread. The drain outlet in the bottom has a G 1/4" thread.
Replace the element at least once every 12 months. Once a year, also check the housing for visible damage.
