Spare filter elements for PF, HPF, WFIT and WFIF process filters
PF range spare elements fit PF, HPF, WFIT and WFIF process filters. The element determines the filtration stage — from a 25 µm stainless steel mesh to a sterile element.
The element code is PF, the stage and the size with the letter V: for example, the PFM-010V fits the PFM-010, HPFM-010, WFITM-010 and WFIFM-010. The elements come in 12 sizes, 005 to 240.

The 25 µm stainless steel mesh traps coarse contaminants.
PFN5 basic filters
The 5 µm stainless steel mesh traps solid contaminants.
PFI20 sintered pre-filters
20 µm sintered stainless steel element for solid contaminants.
PFI1 sintered pre-filters
1 µm sintered stainless steel element for fine solid contaminants.
PFIW1 welded pre-filters
1 µm sintered stainless steel element in a welded design.
PFM fine pre-filters
0.1 µm fine pre-filter, residual oil below 0.1 mg/m³, class 2-x-2.
PFS microfilters
0.01 µm microfilter, residual oil below 0.01 mg/m³, class 1-x-1.
PFA activated carbon filters
Oil vapours, hydrocarbons and odours; class 1-x-1 with a microfilter before it.
PFSF sterile filters
0.01 µm sterile element for the end of the filtration.

Solid particle class 1 for activated carbon A only applies when an S microfilter is installed before it. The manufacturer does not state a class for the meshes, sintered and sterile elements.

Each row is a size with the filter connection, each column a stage. The code leads to the product page of the element.

How to find the right element
In the filter code, replace the range designation with the letters PF and add V: the HPFM-030 filter takes the PFM-030V element, the WFITN25-005 filter the PFN25-005V element and the HPFI20-010 filter the PFI20-010V element.
Large flanged filters from DN100 have several elements: for example, the PFM-450 has three PFM-175V elements. The number is given in the table for each filter.
Order of stages
The stages are arranged from coarse to fine in the direction of flow. Each stage protects the finer stages after it, so their elements last longer. The welded element IW1 is a different design of the 1 µm stage and is used instead of I1.
The fine pre-filter M goes before the microfilter S. A microfilter S always goes before activated carbon A — only with it does solid particle class 1 apply. The sterile element SF is at the end of the filtration.
Element replacement
The elements are replaced at least once every 12 months. Once a year, also check the filter housing for visible damage.
Depressurise the filter before replacing the element. The coalescing elements M and S only separate oil when the air flows through them from the inside out — PF and HPF filters are therefore mounted head up with the bowl down.
Filters
The elements fit PF process filters, HPF process filters up to 50 bar, WFIT welded filters and WFIF welded filters. You will find other elements among the Omega Air spare elements.
- Does an element fit filters of different ranges?
- Yes. PF, HPF, WFIT and WFIF filters of the same size take the same PF range element — for example, the PFM-010V fits the PFM-010, HPFM-010, WFITM-010 and WFIFM-010.
- How do I know which element I need?
- From the filter code: the stage and the size. The HPFM-030 filter takes the PFM-030V element.
- How often should the elements be replaced?
- At least once every 12 months.
- What temperature do the elements withstand?
- Stainless steel meshes and sintered elements +150 °C, the fine pre-filter and the microfilter +120 °C, activated carbon +45 °C.
