Which Export — pump and tank
Two pumps, two tanks, one socket. You choose how much air the machine should deliver and how much of it the tank should hold; the voltage is 230 V on all four.
A29BE with 1.5 kW: 178 l/min at 750 rpm
The smaller A29B pump with a single-phase 1.5 kW (2 hp) motor. The belts drive it at 750 rpm; it draws in 178 l/min and fills the tank to 10 bar. For tyre inflation, blowing off, a stapler and a gun used in bursts; with the 50 l tank it weighs 55 kg, with the 90 l 69 kg. Noise 93 dB Lwa, 73 dB at 4 m.
A39BE with 2.2 kW: 355 l/min at 950 rpm
The bigger A39B pump with a 2.2 kW (3 hp) motor: 177 l/min more air than the A29BE, at 950 rpm. For when a sander, a ratchet or an impact wrench draws air in longer, more frequent bursts, or two people take turns on the machine. With the 50 l tank it weighs 67 kg, with the 90 l 80 kg. Noise 95 dB Lwa, 75 dB at 4 m.
A 50 or 90 l tank
The tank does not add displacement, but it gives the pump its pauses. The fifty is shorter (885 mm), lighter and enough for tools with a short draw; the ninety holds a reserve for longer work with a sander or a gun, and the machine cuts in less often. Both run on two fixed rear wheels and two front swivel castors with brakes, and have a tubular handle.

How the Export differs from the Extensive and Expert — and who it is for
Extensive, Expert and Export: three Pro Line ranges with the same pumps. The Export is the one where you pay less for the same pump — because the pump runs at a lower speed and you are not paying for extras that a tradesman whose tools run in bursts will not use.
The same pump, the same pressure, the same service
Under the guard sit the A29B and A39B pumps — the very same ones ABAC fits to the Extensive and Expert ranges. Cylinders, crank mechanism, oil and intake filter are shared, so our workshop has parts and service for all three ranges. The belt guard is moulded in the same way, and the aftercooler on the outlet is there too.
What the Export leaves out
Only single-phase 230 V motors and only 50 and 90 l tanks. The pump runs at a lower speed than in the Extensive and Expert: the A29B at 750 instead of 1,075 rpm, the A39B at 950 instead of 1,050 rpm — and so it draws in less: 178 instead of 255 l/min on the A29B, 355 instead of 393 l/min on the A39B. The Expert's outlet filter and rubber handle are left out; the Extensive, on the other hand, has only one front castor and an open handle. The 10 bar pressure, the aftercooler and the guard stay — what changes is the price.
Who it is for: the tradesman and the smaller workshop
Machines for lighter trade and workshop jobs with tools used in bursts, with pauses between cycles: tyre inflation, blowing off, stapling, tightening, a spray gun. If you need a three-phase motor, a bigger tank, more air from the same pump, an outlet filter or a machine for two people working non-stop, choose from the ABAC PRO Line ranges.
V-belts, a moulded guard and an aftercooler — what is inside
Belts and 750 or 950 rpm
The motor drives the pump through V-belts with a reduction ratio: the A29B runs at 750, the A39B at 950 revolutions per minute — far slower than direct-drive pumps, which turn with the motor. The pistons and valves do fewer cycles per shift and the pump heats up less; the belt is a part you replace after years without opening up the pump.
Moulded belt guard
The guard does more than cover the belt: it is shaped so that the pulley drives cooling air over the finned cylinders of the pump. The machine cools itself even during longer work and the compressed air leaves cooler; you see the oil level in the sight glass without opening anything.
Aftercooler on the outlet
The compressed air leaves the pump through the finned tube of the aftercooler, where it cools down before it enters the tank. The moisture drops out as condensate in the tank, not in the hose at the tool, and you drain it through the ball valve under the tank.
Tank, switch and outlet
A horizontal 50 or 90 l tank rated at 10 bar. The pressure switch starts and stops the motor according to pressure; the 230 V motor has thermal overload protection. On the outlet there is a pressure regulator, two gauges — tank pressure and tool pressure — and a DN 7.2 quick coupling. The AirTube QR code on the tank opens service videos.

Where the Export works
The tradesman on site
Joiner, fitter, plumber: a stapler, a nail gun, blowing off and tyre inflation. The A29BE-1.5-50CM rolls on its castors to the van, runs from an ordinary socket and, at 55 kg, is a two-person lift. If you sand on site, take the A39BE with 355 l/min.
The smaller workshop and garage
A ratchet, an impact wrench in bursts, a blow gun, tyre inflation: the A39BE-2.2-90CM holds a 90 l reserve and 355 l/min for one person working with tools in longer bursts, or for two taking turns. The machine stands by an ordinary 230 V socket and needs no three-phase supply.
Small paint jobs and maintenance
A spray gun, protective coatings, cleaning machines: the A39BE with 90 l and a pressure regulator gives the gun a steady pressure; a regulator with a filter at the workstation belongs upstream of the gun. For an all-day paint shop or several workstations at once, choose a more powerful range.
Accessories and service
The DN 7.2 quick coupling is the same standard as on the hoses, guns and tools across our whole range. For a spray gun add a regulator with a filter at the workstation — the regulator on the machine has no filter. Ventilek advises
The same pump as in the Expert, an aftercooler and a moulded guard — and you pay less for that pump than in the Extensive or the Expert. The Export does not cost less because someone skimped on it; it is cheaper than the Extensive and Expert because it runs the pump more slowly and leaves out the three-phase motors, the big tanks and the outlet filter. If you inflate, blow off, staple and now and then spray, you need no more — and you get a pump our workshop knows from the Extensive and Expert. For a machine to take out on site I would take the A29BE-1.5-50CM; for the workshop, the A39BE-2.2-90CM. If you want far fewer decibels or oil-free air, look at the Super Silent OS and the Expert Zero.
Frequently asked questions
- What does Export mean in the A29BE and A39BE designation, and how do the machines differ from the Extensive and Expert?
- The Export is the Pro Line range with the same A29B and A39B pumps as the Extensive and Expert, a moulded belt guard and an aftercooler, but only with single-phase 230 V motors and 50 and 90 l tanks. The pump runs at a lower speed, so it draws in less air than in the Extensive and Expert: the A29B 178 instead of 255 l/min, the A39B 355 instead of 393 l/min; and it goes without the Expert's outlet filter and rubber handle. The pressure is the same, the price lower. The letter E is the importer's code that distinguishes this range from the T (Extensive) and the P (Expert).
- Is an ordinary 230 V socket enough? Is there a three-phase version?
- All four machines have a single-phase 1.5 or 2.2 kW motor for an ordinary 230 V socket; they need a short, adequately rated lead so that start-up does not trip the breaker. There is no three-phase version in the Export range — three-phase machines with the same pumps are in the Extensive and Expert ranges.
- 50 l or 90 l — and how does the A29BE differ from the A39BE?
- The A29BE has the A29B pump with 1.5 kW and 178 l/min at 750 rpm, the A39BE the A39B pump with 2.2 kW and 355 l/min at 950 rpm — 177 l/min more. The 50 l tank is enough for tools with a short draw and is 13 to 14 kg lighter; the 90 l holds a reserve for longer work and the machine cuts in less often. For one tradesman with a gun and a stapler, the A29BE-1.5-50CM; for a workshop with a sander and an impact wrench, the A39BE-2.2-90CM.
- How loud are the Export compressors?
- The A29BE has 93 dB Lwa and 73 dB at 4 m, the A39BE 95 dB Lwa and 75 dB at 4 m. That is the noise of a belt-driven machine for the workshop; if you need far fewer decibels, ABAC has the sound-insulated Super Silent OS range. Stand the machine on a level floor and not in a corner — reflected noise adds decibels.
- Why does the Export have V-belts, and what are the moulded guard and the aftercooler for?
- The belts let the pump run slower than the motor — 750 or 950 rpm instead of motor speed; the pistons do fewer cycles per shift and the pump heats up less. The moulded belt guard guides cooling air from the pulley over the finned cylinders; the aftercooler cools the compressed air before it enters the tank, so the condensate stays in the tank. Lighter machines without belts are in the ABAC Line range.
- What is the warranty?
- Two years on the machine, with an optional extension to three years at extra cost when you buy, and ten years on the tank against rusting through. That goes hand in hand with routine maintenance as per the manual: draining the condensate, checking the oil level in the sight glass, changing the oil and cleaning the intake filter.
- Who is the Export for — will it last a whole day in the workshop?
- For the tradesman and the smaller workshop where tools draw air in bursts: tyre inflation, blowing off, stapling, tightening, a spray gun. A piston machine works in cycles and needs pauses; the pairing of a 90 l tank with the A39B pump is for longer work by one person, not for two people running sanders non-stop. - Where do I find the service videos, and who does the servicing?
- On the tank there is an AirTube sticker with a QR code — scanned with a phone, it opens instructional and service videos for the pump. - Why is the Export cheaper when it has the same pump?
- Because you pay only for what a tradesman whose tools run in bursts will actually use: the pump, the tank, the aftercooler, the regulator and the castors. The pump runs at a lower speed and draws in less air than in the Extensive and Expert, the motor is single-phase only, the tanks only 50 and 90 l, and the Expert's outlet filter and rubber handle are missing. So you pay less for the same pump than in either sister range — provided that 230 V, 50 or 90 l and 178 or 355 l/min of displacement are enough for you.
All values apply to a 50 Hz supply. Air displacement is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
