Housing and dimensions

Drawing of an HF filter with dimensions A, B, C and D
A height, B head width, C from the top edge to the connection axis, D clearance below the filter.

The housing is cast aluminium with a powder coating, the head cover is ABS and the seals are NBR. The air is connected through female pipe threads in the filter head; the condensate leaves at the bottom through a G 1/2" thread.

According to the manufacturer’s data sheet: height A 1,010 mm, head width B 198 mm, top edge to connection axis C 70 mm and clearance below the filter D 780 mm. Weight 34.9 kg, housing volume 19.8 l.

Flow by pressure

The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it changes according to the correction factor:

Where to place it

Filtration stages in the direction of flow, with stage HFS highlighted
In the direction of flow: 1 coarse B, 2 basic P, 3 dust R, 4 fine pre-filter M, 5 microfilter S, 6 activated carbon A. HFS is highlighted.

It goes after the HFM fine pre-filter, which protects it. Before HFA activated carbon, it is mandatory.

You will find other sizes among the filters of the same stage.
