Original mineral oil for piston compressors Black Wind. Additives give it resistance to oxidation, corrosion and wear under pressure load. One-litre bottle with a resealable cap.
When to change it
The manufacturer recommends changing it once a year or after 100 engine hours — whichever comes first. This is a shorter interval than for industrial oils and corresponds to the fact that these are machines for occasional and craft use.
The viscosity class is ISO VG 100, i.e. a thicker oil than the one used in screw compressors. For a piston machine this is intentional: a thicker film seals better between the piston and the cylinder wall and withstands the impact load at each stroke.
For a new compressor, an additional run-in oil change is performed: after one month of operation or after 20 engine hours. Small particles from manufacturing remain in a machine being run in, and these need to be removed before they spread throughout the crankshaft assembly.
What the manufacturer says about the oil
- Genuine lubricant specified by the compressor manufacturer.
- Mineral base with additives against oxidation, corrosion and foaming.
- Resealable pack, once opened it can be used for topping up over time.
- The oil is drained warm, with the machine shut down and depressurised.
How it differs from its siblings
For compressors of other brands, their original oils are intended — ATM-OIL for ATMOS, WK1-OIL for WALTER, ALTP-0-25 and ABP-1 for ABAC.

The technical data correspond to the supplier's data sheet and the manufacturer's documentation. The replacement interval applies to normal temperature, humidity, and a dust-free environment. The oil should be drained while hot, with the machine stopped and depressurised.
