WFIFI1 sintered stainless steel pre-filters up to 14 bar
The WFIFI1 sintered pre-filter has an element made of sintered stainless steel 1.4404 and traps solid particles larger than 1 µm. The element is made entirely of stainless steel and, like the housing, withstands up to +150 °C.
The WFIFI1 filter comes in 11 sizes (DN15 to DN100) with flows of 2,500 to 84,000 l/min at 7 bar; working pressure up to 14 bar, sizes from DN100 up to 10 bar. It is one of the stages of the WFIF filters — the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.

When to use it
The sintered pre-filter is suitable where the air is warmer: the stainless steel element withstands up to +150 °C, microfibre elements only +120 °C. It does not trap oil; the manufacturer does not state an ISO 8573-1 class for it.
Where to place it
After the WFIFN5 basic filter, before the WFIFM fine pre-filter.
Flow by pressure
The catalogue flows apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, they are multiplied by the correction factor: 1.88 at 14 bar.

Element, condensate drainage and maintenance
A PF range element is fitted in the housing — for example, the PFI1-010V for the WFIFI1-010. The same element also fits the PFI1-010 and WFITI1-010. Flanged filters from DN100 have several elements — their number is given in the table for each size. Element working temperature +1.5 to +150 °C.
The filter is supplied with an element, without a condensate drain. For WFIF filters, the manufacturer offers the AOK20SS stainless steel float drain up to 20 bar and +65 °C and, for the head, the MDHI 50-K differential pressure gauge. The drain outlet in the bottom has a G 1/2" thread, G 1" for size DN100.
Replace the element at least once every 12 months. Once a year, also check the housing for visible damage.

Stage I1 also comes in the PFI1 filters up to 14 bar and WFITI1 filters up to 14 bar. The elements are the same for all ranges.

Stainless steel up to +150 °C. The sintered element is made of stainless steel 1.4404 and withstands the same temperature as the housing. For oil aerosol, a fine pre-filter M goes after it.
