5/2
Five-way, two-position 5/2 valves are the standard directional valve for double-acting cylinders — a single signal moves pressure from one side of the piston to the other while venting the opposite chamber.
The valve designation reads like a fraction: the first number is the count of ports, the second the count of spool positions. Choose the actuation and reset method to match your control system — a solenoid suits electrical control, an air pilot signal works where electricity is unwelcome. Also check the port thread, the coil voltage and the flow you need.
