Product detailed description

Spare element UF-15 for the Hankison NGF F15-B-UF ultra-fine microfilter. You can recognise the stage by the end cap — for UF it is yellow.

Which filter it fits
Each NGF filter size has its own element. The number after the hyphen in the element code matches the filter size; this one only fits the filter below.
| Filter | Connection | Flow at 7 bar | Working pressure |
|---|---|---|---|
| F15-B-UF | G 2 1/2" | 33,983 l/min | 11 bar |
How to replace the element
Replace the element after 3,000 operating hours, within 12 months at the latest, or at a pressure drop of 400 mbar.
- Close the air inlet and outlet and depressurise the filter — via the button or bleed screw of the drain, or on a CF filter by opening the ball valve.
- Unscrew the bowl anticlockwise and unscrew the old element. Wipe the inside of the filter head.
- Lubricate the O-ring of the new element and fit it so that the slot in the element engages the projection in the filter head. Do not touch the foam sleeve of HF, UF and CF elements with your fingers.
- Screw the bowl back on, replacing and lubricating its O-ring if necessary, and slowly pressurise the filter.
Where to place it

It goes after the PF dust filter, possibly also after the HF microfilter, and before CF activated carbon.
You will find elements for the other sizes with the filters of the same stage and in the NGF accessories.
