Fine pre-filter WHFITM-200 – 50 bar, G 3", 40,000 l/min 0.1 microns · class 2-x-2 · 50 bar
Code: WHFITM-200Related products
Product detailed description
The WHFITM-200 fine process pre-filter traps fine solid particles larger than 0.1 µm, water and oil aerosol; residual oil is below 0.1 mg/m³. It has a G 3" connection (female pipe thread), a flow of 40,000 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 50 bar.
It belongs to the WHFIT process filters, among the WHFITM fine pre-filters: the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.

Housing and dimensions

The welded housing for pressures up to 50 bar is made of stainless steel 1.4404, or 1.4301 on request, with FKM seals (EPDM or silicone on request) and female pipe threads. It withstands −20 to +150 °C; the actual limit depends on the seals and the element.
For oil separation, the air flows through the coalescing element from the inside out, and the filter is mounted head up with the bowl down.
Dimensions according to the manufacturer: height A 1,028 mm, width across the connections B 228 mm, housing diameter C 139.7 mm. Weight 11.5 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; at 50 bar it is 6.38:
| Pressure (bar) | 7 | 16 | 30 | 50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flow (l/min) | 40,000 | 85,200 | 155,200 | 255,200 |
Element and accessories
| For this filter: | |
|---|---|
| Spare element | PFM-200V |
| Condensate drain (ordered separately) | AOK50SS, TD420M-230VAC |
| Differential pressure gauge for the filter head | MDHI50-K |
Where to place it

It goes after the sintered pre-filter or the dust filter, before the WHFITS microfilter: it protects the microfilter element, which then lasts longer.
You will find other sizes among the filters of the same stage.
