WFITR stainless steel dust filters up to 14 bar
The WFITR dust filter has a pleated element of borosilicate microfibres and traps solid particles and dust larger than 1 µm — solid particle class 3 according to ISO 8573-1. The element withstands +120 °C.
The WFITR filter comes in 12 sizes (G 1/4" to 3") with flows of 1,250 to 60,000 l/min at 7 bar; working pressure up to 14 bar. It is one of the stages of the WFIT filters — the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.

The size determines the connection and the flow. Each size has its own PF range spare element.

When to use it
The dust filter R is suitable where the air must be free of dust and fine solid particles but oil is not a problem. The manufacturer does not state an oil class for it — oil aerosol is handled by the fine pre-filter M.
Like the fine pre-filter and the microfilter, the element is made of borosilicate microfibres and withstands +120 °C.
Where to place it
After the WFITP fibre pre-filter or the WFITN5 basic filter, before the WFITM fine pre-filter.
Flow by pressure
The catalogue flows apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, they are multiplied by the correction factor: 1.88 at 14 bar.

Element, condensate drainage and maintenance
A PF range element is fitted in the housing — for example, the PFR-010V for the WFITR-010. The same element also fits the PFR-010, HPFR-010, WFIFR-010, WFIWR-010 and WHFITR-010. Element working temperature +1.5 to +120 °C.
The filter is supplied with an element, without a condensate drain. For WFIT filters, the manufacturer offers the AOK20SS stainless steel float drain up to 20 bar and +65 °C and, for the head, the MDHI 50-K differential pressure gauge. The drain outlet in the bottom has a G 1/2" thread.
Replace the element at least once every 12 months. Once a year, also check the housing for visible damage.

Stage R also comes in the PFR filters up to 14 bar, HPFR filters up to 50 bar, WFIFR filters up to 14 bar, WFIWR filters up to 14 bar and WHFITR filters up to 50 bar. The elements are the same for all ranges.

Dust, or oil too? The class 3 dust filter R traps dust down to 1 µm. If oil aerosol is also a problem, add a fine pre-filter M after it.
